Introduction

As the world is progressing with scientific inventions our routine life appliances transformed into more compact and smart devices or machines. In the stone age to create a fire spark man utilized a lot of effort with refined techniques but still it was a chance game. Now we have electrical/mechanical and chemical ignition systems which ignite fire within no second.

Today our homes are filled with machines/ gadgets /robots and we are enjoying our life with comfort and peace. But besides the countless advantages of this machine and information era, we must keep ourselves reminded that safety must be our highest priority because as we develop with machines the risk of abrupt devastation is increased. An accident can result in any non reversible loss or damage if we ignore or compromise on safety that includes use of a safe machine/appliances, follow safe and good practices and work in safe condition.

According to research conducted by internal journals every year thousands home fire cases are recorded around the world where the root cause of fire is miss use of Microwave Oven and Oven.

Further, it is also an amazing fact that most people do not know the type of appliance they use in their home, unable to differentiate microwave, oven and microwave oven. Lack of knowledge leads to wrong step which cause fire incident.

Microwave

Microwave oven is a machine where the source of heat is a micro-tron which emits microwaves of high emergency into the microwave chamber where we keep food for heating. The Microwaves penetrate into food heat the water molecules in food which result in food heating.

Oven

Oven as it old English word is “ofen” is meant to heat radiating object - in oven electric or gas heating rode are installed which heat-up food or some time use to cook or bake food e.g grill chicken or bake cookies.

Microwave Oven

It is a combo of both microwave and oven where micro-tron and heater rods are installed and it performs multi jobs including cooking/baking and heating of food.

Operating conditions

it is important to understand and adopt best operating condition along with right choice of appliances, microwave oven have three different modes or operating conditions;

Micro-mode use only t heat food or boil water - in micro-mode metallic utensils should not used to prevent any electric shock spark

Convention mode is made for heating of food and water also use fr defrost food - in convection mode plastic utensils should not use

Baking/Grill mode is design to bake or cook food - customize grill pan or rods are available with Microwave oven

7. Keep Microwave oven away from children

Don't for Microwave/Oven/Microwave Oven Users

1. Never cut power cord to use local adapter
2. Never use extension board to operate the microwave oven
3. Never use aluminium foil in micro-mode
4. Don't use metal utensils micro-mode
5. Don't use plastic utensils in grill and convection mode
6. Don't cover top of micro-oven with cloth or vinyl sheet/polythene
7. Don't put anything on top of oven
8. Don''t heat/cook food having hard shells
9. Don't heat bottles with closed led
10. Don't use sealed containers
11. Don't installed oven/microwave oven near water tab/sink splash water leads to electric shock
12. Don't boil eggs may be exploded

• Power plug and cord health testing by physical check, ensure no burn or tear observe if do so replace it immediately

• Timer inspection/check - test for 30 second count down

• General cleaning of chamber and exterior
