How to conduct Health and Safety Induction

Introduction

When it comes to creating an effective health and safety culture which could help in down the risks and raising awareness among employees the health and safety induction is one of the best and effective tools to achieve safety culture.
It is also important to understand that unless we make all staff (new and existing) fully aware of the organizational health and safety policy and strategies we can not expect them to work in line with the organizational health and safety culture.
Health and safety induction not only will provide new staff with proper health and safety awareness to establish a firm basis to perform their role, but it is compliance with legal requirements.
According to the Health and Safety at Work Act (HSWA) 1974, employers must provide information,
instruction, training, and supervision, to ensure health and safety as far as is reasonably practicable,
while at work..
